On Allowing

From the Mary Oliver poem ‘Wild Geese’, reminding us we are human, we are ordinary, we are not separate, we are part of this world, part of this “family of things”. And showing us how beautiful that is.

“You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert, repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.”
